COVID-19 Policies

  • The safety of our patients, employees, physicians and our community is our primary concern.

  • Effective immediately, we would like to request our Primary Care Physicians and their Medical Assistants to confirm and screen all scheduled appointments one (1) day prior to the appointment. Please see testing criteria COVID-19 Clinician Checklist from the LA County Department of Public Health.

  • If the patient is offering only mild symptom history they should be directed to self-quarantine and not be brought in for assessment and testing. During your own telephonic screening with a patient, if you feel they are exhibiting serious respiratory symptoms such as dyspnea, tachypnea and they have additional comorbid conditions these patients should be directed to the ER.

  • In the event a suspected COVID-19 patient makes it into the office, please isolate them in an exam room with a mask and follow the protocols outlined in the attached LA County Department of Public Health COVID-19 Clinician Checklist.
